Evvo Labs Singapore is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the Vietnam–Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), part of The University of Danang, marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and the launch of a new intensive Apprenticeship Program at VKU’s on-campus Center of Excellence.
The MoA signing ceremony, held on December 10 at VKU’s campus in Da Nang, marks an important step forward in EvvoLabs’ efforts to nurture the next generation of technology professionals capable of meeting real-world industry demands. Representatives from both organisations were present, including Vince Chew, Chief Executive Officer of EvvoLabs Singapore, and senior leadership from VKU.

This collaboration reflects our commitment to bridging academic excellence with industry practice to cultivate job-ready talent in the fast-evolving fields of technology and cybersecurity. As an industry leader in applied technology solutions, Evvo Labs seeks to work with forward-thinking institutions like VKU to empower the next generation of engineers with real-world experience and professional competencies.
“Evvo Labs is committed to collaborating with educational partners whose vision aligns with our belief in experiential, project-based learning,” said Vince Chew, CEO of EvvoLabs. “VKU’s proactive approach to integrating industry practice into its curriculum and its students’ technological competence, makes this partnership a natural fit for us. Together, we aim to cultivate highly skilled engineers who can contribute immediately to real projects and drive growth within the technology ecosystem.”

Under the MoA framework, Evvo Labs and VKU will jointly operate the Center of Excellence, a modern hub for learning, collaboration, and research. Evvo Labs has sponsored key infrastructure to support student learning and applied project work. A central feature of the partnership is the six-month intensive Apprenticeship Program, where students will work on actual industry projects with mentorship from EvvoLabs professionals and a structured pathway toward potential employment.

In addition to the apprenticeship, Evvo Labs and VKU will collaborate on student Capstone guidance, workshops, seminars, and joint research activities over the next three years. These initiatives support shared goals of advancing practical education, strengthening talent pipelines, and empowering students to thrive in global technology landscapes.
This partnership showcases Evvo Labs’ broader commitment to corporate-academic collaboration, workforce development, and long-term investment in Southeast Asia’s technology talent ecosystem that is continuously developing.
